The partner Sveučilište u Splitu - University of Split carried out the pruning of the almond tree in the Croatian demosite. The work was accompanied by 3rd year students who learned about the project and helped with measuring and pruning the plants. 🇭🇷

Meet the Israeli demosite
Today we present the demo site located in the Model Farm for Sustainable Agriculture Newe Ya'ar Research Center, in Israel. 🇮🇱 A fully operated research orchard with a total of 15 ha will host intercropping practices to study weed control and the impact of service crops on almond tree performance.
Meet the Portuguese demosite
Today we present the demo site located in Portugal, with field trials in Macedo de Cavaleiros and Argozelo. 🇵🇹 A total of 3 ha of almond orchard will host intercropping practices using chickpea, clover and faba beans.

Meet the Croatian demosite
Today we present the demo site located in Croatia, more precisely in Selca, a town in the island of Brac. 
Here, a 40 ha almond orchard will host a field trial for intercropping practices using medicinal and aromatic herbs.
Meet the Moroccan demosite
Today we present the demo site located in Morocco, with field trials in Ain Taoujdate and in the Azilal mountains, plus a third field trial under progress in Aknoul. 🇲🇦 A total of 12 ha of almond orchard will host intercropping practices using beans.
